CHILDREN DURING THE WORSHIP GATHERING
INFANTS AND TODDLERS
Babies and toddlers are welcome in the worship service until such a time that the crying, fussing, or cooing would become a distraction to others. At that point we would ask that one of the parents take the baby or toddler to the cry room that is available downstairs. That room is equipped with sound so that you will be able to hear the sermon and you will also be served the Lord’s Supper.
YOUNG CHILDREN
There are two options at Faith Bible Church for parents with young children. We believe that God has given you, as parents, the primary jurisdiction over the training of your children and we will not usurp that authority.
One option available to you for your young children is a structured gathering for them downstairs. Included in this children’s gathering will be singing, sound biblical teaching, crafts, and other activities that will nurture them in the things of the Lord.
The other option for you is to have your young children with you in the worship service upstairs. We will gladly tolerate an occasional disturbance from them in order to assist you in your desire to have them with you. If there is an incident that becomes more than a minor disruption, we do ask that you take them out for discipline and then return to the service.
