This week we continue to examine the question, “What will we do in heaven?” Pastor Ron Lewis takes us to several scriptures to show us that we will actually reign with Christ in heaven. Isn’t that exciting? There are certain roles that we have here on earth and those roles will be enhanced in heaven because there will be no sin or failure there.

This week we continue our study on heaven and in particular attempt to answer the question of “What will we do in heaven?” Pastor Ron Lewis’ message is titled, “Service Without Exhaustion.”

In our day we get weary in well-doing, but in heaven we will never tire of serving God. This sermon is very encouraging and gives us hope for the future. What a glorious place heaven will be for us!

A Model Prayer From Jesus

Pastor Ron Lewis starts out this new year of 2012 by focusing our attention on how we should pray. It is so important that we pray according to God’s Word to have powerful and effective prayers. This Sunday he takes us to Matthew 6:9-13, which is commonly known as ”The Lord’s Prayer,” and voiced in many churches weekly. But, actually this a model for prayer that Jesus gave his disciples and also to us. If you are like me and your prayer life has gotten a bit stale, listen and renew your prayer life right now. This year Christmas fell on Sunday and was a special blessing as we went to church to celebrate Christ’s birth with our fellow Christian brothers and sisters.

Joel Spencer presented the Christmas message this year, titled, “The Whole Message of this Life,” taken mainly from Acts 5:20.

Our Lord Jesus wanted people to hear the “whole” gospel message, not just part of it mixed in with man’s traditions. The disciples were told by the angel of the Lord to go out and tell this message to everyone. Joel Spencer shows us what happened when they did.

Acts 5:20 “Go, take your stand in the temple courts and declare to the people the whole doctrine concerning this Life.” [the eternal life which Christ revealed]. Amplified Bible
